ART ⎮ STORYTELLING ⎮ COACHING

Painting, drawing, storytelling... ever since I could hold a pencil, creativity and imagination have been my life. The I did not attend the art academy in Munich after high school was due to personal circumstances—and my art teacher, Mrs. Dietz, was deeply shocked.

In April 2021, at the age of 54, I received my autism diagnosis. And everything that had gone wrong in my life suddenly made sense...

Art and creativity were calling me back. Or rather, I started listening again...

Looking back, I know that it was the right decision not to go to art school. Back then, in the 80s, the girl I was at the time, already badly damaged by home and school, would have been completely destroyed. It was good to go far away—to Japan. There I studied Japanese linguistics and cultural anthropology and graduated with a BA. After eleven years, I came back to Munich—today, knowing about my autism, I understand why the following years were so incredibly difficult again...

In 2011, I went to India to spend some time at the ashram of Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma). Almost ten years I stayed there.

Now I live in Mexico. I am certified as an art therapy life coach and meditation teacher and work with private and corporate clients.

The following flip-zine provides a more detailed overview of my career prior to this.
